Why have the standards changed?
To support the ISO London Declaration on climate change, ISO has added two new statements to several management system standards. Consequently, our clients are required to consider the impact of climate change on their ability to achieve the intended results of their management systems.

4.1 Understanding the organisation and its context.
The organisation shall determine external and internal issues that are relevant to its purpose and that affect its ability to achieve the intended result(s) of its XXX management system.

When does this take effect?
There is no transition time; the requirements are in effect and will be audited immediately.
