Whether you practice a traditional ‘Christmas’ or not. There’s still a lot to be said for giving & receiving. Especially giving.
Especially to charity.
Some of the hardest working people you’ll meet work for charities across the world.
Making the world a better place, often for those most forgotten and hardest hit. People for whom ‘Christmas’ doesn’t mean warmth, presents and family.
Our charitable donations this year are to the following organisations:
(There are links to their donation pages if you want to help them out too)
Primrose Hospice
https://primrosehospice.org/support-us/fundraising/donate/
Primrose Hospice is a Worcestershire based Hospice that provides love care and support to people (and their families) with life-limiting illnesses.
They need to raise £1.75 million each year to continue to support those most in need.
As an independent charity (700272) they are reliant on donations from the local community. As we are one of their community we are happy to donate to this wonderful organisation.
Porchlight
https://www.porchlight.org.uk/donate
Porchlight (267116) is Kent’s largest charity for homeless people or those who are at risk of becoming homeless.
Like other charities; Porchlight rely on donations in order to continue to provide support to people at risk of, or who already are, homeless.
Khalsa Aid International
https://www.khalsaaid.org/donate
A UK based charity (1163294) that delivers aid internationally, to some of the most deprived people in the world. Civil conflict zones and disaster-hit regions of the world are the beneficiaries of the incredible work Khalsa Aid do.
Their organisation is based on the Sikh principle of “Recognise the whole human as one race”
That would be a great gift for all of us.
